The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Washington, D.C. wishes to announce the
opening of the Consulate in New York.
The Consulate General is open for full consular services (passports, visas, and
immigration). Consular Service Fees

- Multiple entry Visa - $100.00
- Transit Visa $ 20.00
- Administrative fee for referred visa -$10.00
- Expedited visa service - $40
- Courtesy Visa - Gratis

All holders of travel documents should apply for visas to Kenya ninety days prior
to the intended date of travel.

Lost or Mutilated Passport
If you have had a passport for 10 years from the date
of issue it cannot be renewed. You are required to apply for a new passport. You may apply
for a new passport 6 months before expiry.
Please note that it takes 6-8 weeks to get a new passport from the date the application is
received in Nairobi. Kindly ensure that the application forms are properly signed and dated. As any incomplete application will not be processed.

A visa is required prior to entry into Kenya. Visas are usually issued valid for six months from the date of issue. Visas are issued within 10 working days from date of application and 12-16 working
days during the peak season of May - August. Applicants must allow for the ten days to elapse from the date the application was
received at the Embassy before they can follow up on their individual cases.
