The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) was established after Kenya became Independent in 1963 to articulate Kenya’s Foreign Policy. Kenya's foreign policy strategy rests on four interlinked pillars of economic diplomacy, peace diplomacy, environmental diplomacy and diaspora diplomacy.
